4pm–1am

With our oceans and marine-life drowning in plastic, it’s time for our supermarkets to take action to drastically reduce their use of plastic packaging. Join us to support the Greenpeace supermarket plastics campaign with an afternoon and evening of fantastic stalls, workshops, comedy and music!

Here's what you won't want to miss:

4–6pm - A relaxing start with 3 workshops around sustainability and reducing plastic

> 4:30 - "Planetary thinking and the end of Capitalism – a refreshing co-designing session to rethink the biggest polluters on the planet" by Nicole - After having introduced some tips on how to implement planetary thinking on our everyday life and the benefits it would bring into one’s life, Nicole will use her method - Environment Centred Design – for a brainstorming workshop reinventing corporations, where people will have the opportunity to co-ideate environmentally friendly systems/products/services.

> 5:30 - "The Science of Sustainability" Come and meet Roxy, a biologist and founder of Zephyr Eco Market, a company that offers a range of products will enable daily swaps to be made to minimise impact to our planet. Using science, she will explain how the way we live our lives has knock on effect throughout the entire ecosystem and share simple ways of starting our journey to a more sustainable life. 

> 6:00 - "Let’s reduce our plastic: Tips for plastic-free alternatives around the home". Lauren and Fearghal, both volunteers for Greenpeace, will share some practical and fun tips on how to be a more responsible consumer in your daily shopping at the supermarket and avoid useless plastic!

7-8pm - Stand-up comedy from The Jerk Store 

The Jerk Store's own Ross Drummond and Harry Monaghan will be providing some comedy along with their good friends Ruby Carr & Liz Guterbock!

8–1am - Gig starts!
