Event Description

Our Annual Plant and Seed Swap will be taking place at our Springfield Park site on Sunday 6th May, from 2pm til 5pm. We will have plants to swap or to buy (by donation) as well as seeds to swap.  Seedlings on offer this year will include tomatoes, squashes, herbs, soft fruit, salads and more. Please bring along any plants or seeds you want to swap.

There will also be tours of the growing space where we produce the salad for the Growing Communities box scheme.

Paul helpfully made this map clearer for those of us who don't know the park or the GC site and sent these directions:

The site is within the park so it’s a broad pathway rather than a road that leads up to the entrance, so you won’t be able to get a car into the park itself.  There is usually parking available on Spring Hill (the road to the north of the park) and possibly on Springfield (the road to the south).  The Growing Communities site is only about 200 metres from the park entrances on Spring Hill and Springfield.  If coming from the west, then approach from Seven Sisters Road, turn right onto Amhurst Park (road) (about a mile past Manor House station), pass through Stamford Hill and straight on to Clapton Common (road).
