Hackney Council needs to work on improving Hackney's good food rating

This year Hackney scored a disappointing 43% in the Good Food for London report, which helps gauge how London is doing to secure a healthy and sustainable food future, with a score less than half of the leading London borough (Greenwich). This is despite food being so important to the borough’s health, culture, economy and environmental sustainability.

Hackney Council should sign up to the Hackney Food Charter and carry out whatever action is need to ensure we improve our ranking in next year’s Good Food for London report.
