Hi Everyone,
We are looking for volunteers to come and help out with a range of gardening activities and tasks at Mobile Garden City! Everyone is welcome and all activities are free to join.
WHAT IS MOBILE GARDEN CITY?
Mobile Garden City on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a community-led space where local residents and community groups can connect with nature, network and learn new skills through our programme of free workshops and activities. The movable community garden is located on the corner of Temple Mills Lane and Honour Lea Avenue on Chobham Manor, near Chobham Academy.
The aim of the Mobile Garden City is:
- To create a welcoming, beautiful and movable public garden
- Demonstrate the ability to create productive and vibrant community spaces on meanwhile sites
- Provide food growing, socialising and training opportunities for the whole community.
