Are there any groups focused on beautifying and repairing environments on the tracks?
There are the planters in the stations themselves but no one has touched them since they were put in. I have alerted Council, Network Rail, my Landlord also, about the rubbish dumping right outside Stoke Newington Station, under Manor Road Bridge, and along either side of the tracks going north - which could make a gorgeous bee-friendly garden instead.
Plus, our landlord refuses to get bike lockers and recycling bins for our apartment building -although I am very suspect of the “recycling” in the UK anyway- which also seems to fall on deaf ears. Anyone with advice or able to offer support?
I’d happily lead and source supplies for teams and volunteers to help with the re-wilding.
