Organisations

Plastic Pirates

Monthly river clean up in pop up spaces along the River Lea.. we provide equipment and have an info point for solutions to plastic pollution

Plogolution

Plogolution has been set up to help support fit and happy communities that are dedicated to protecting the environment so we can be proud to hand our planet down to future generations.

We arrange regular 'plogs' which are run/walk and rubbish pick ups around London. Keeping rubbish from entering our rivers and raising endorphin levels at the same time!

CleanupUK

CleanupUK helps anyone, wherever they live in the UK, to form a litter-picking group to strengthen their community. We achieve this via thewww.litteraction.org.uk website that we have set up in conjunction with the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE).

Clean Up Britain
Clean Up Britain was started by a small group of professionals who united based on a shared passion for looking after our environment, and a particular concern about the increasing problem of litter. We’ve been lobbying hard for a national litter campaign and are members of the National Litter Strategy Advisory Group. In 2018, we’re broadening our horizons to inspire and enable communities and businesses better address environmental issues which are fast becoming extremely hot topics – single-use plastics, reuse and recycling.

Zero Waste Europe

Zero Waste Europe connects and supports a vibrant network of 29 national and local NGOs promoting the Zero Waste strategy as a way to make Europe more sustainable. Local groups are responsible for promoting ZW, managing and monitoring the network of Zero Waste municipalities, and engaging with companies and decision-makers.
To become member of Zero Waste Europe the organisation has to agree with the ZWE principles and the ZW hierarchy.
