Event Description

Continuation of Sat 28th's planting.

Join Tree Musketeers on Hackney Downs for the final major tree planting on the Downs. We have planted over 150 trees on the Downs in the last 15 years.

This year we will be planting: oak, apple, birch, beech, hawthorn, willow and some exotics. All the trees have been grown at the wonderful Hackney Community Tree Nursery (thereby reducing carbon cost in transport and reducing biosecurity risks of spreading pests & diseases).

Meet 10.30am at the old bowling green in the centre of the park or find us on the Downs.

Wear warm clothes and boots or strong shoes.
