Event Description

The Silvertown Tunnel coalition:  

 

Aims to stop the Greater London Authority's climate-trashing £2 billion road infrastructure project. This project will dramatically increase the level of traffic, HGVs aand pollution in East London.

In Newham residents today are already exposed to a level of air pollution that is 35% greater than the World Health Organisation guidelines and where poor air quality in the borough kills almost 100 residents every year.

 

This on-line event on Friday, December 4th at 11.00am is organised by the Stop the Silvertown Tunnel coalition.
