Air pollution is a problem in London. Did you know that last year air pollution was responsible for over 4,000 Londoners deaths?
In the borough of Hackney some of the most popular areas where we live, work or spend leisure time in are well over the EU safe limits of pollutants. In particular Stoke Newington, Stamford Hill, Homerton, Shoreditch and Manor House.
This public meeting will raise awareness about what the problem is and what we can do about it. Including opportunities for taking action locally. The meeting has been organised by a sustainable transport charity called Sustrans and is supported by the Greater London Authority.
There is no need to book, you can just turn up on the day, however if you do know that you will be coming, I would appreciate an email so I can get an idea of numbers Cleanerair@sustrans.org.uk / 0207 780 7201
Hope to see you there!

I've just checked the weather and the snow should stop at lunchtime so the meeting is still going ahead!
