Did you know that every menstrual pad contains 4 plastic bags worth of plastic? And, that period products are the 5th most common type of plastic waste on Europe’s beaches? But what are the alternatives?
In a friendly event full of humour and myth-busting we will explore all the different plastic-free options for our periods and why what we use really matters. We will also teach you how to make a washable pad. We promise you’ll leave feeling empowered and with a whole new affection for periods!
Join us at workshop on 13 February as we share all there is to know about plastic-free periods. Tickets are free with a refundable deposit. Hackney residents only. Please book through the eventbrite link below.
