The Species Recovery Trust is running these half-day taster courses as an introduction to the wonderful world of wildflowers. Choose either the morning session at 10.30-1pm, or the afternoon session at 1.30-4pm.
The course includes a brief overview of the main families of flowers found in the UK, which can make identification so much easier for beginners and experts alike. This will be followed by a look at some of the most common flowers encountered in different habitats.
The Natural History museum garden is almost unique in supporting a wide range of native habitats and their associated plants, making this day an invaluable and exciting opportunity to see an incredible diversity of plants, all within 5 minutes walk of a tube station!
