Event Description

Hackney Cycling Campaign would like to invite you to join them at their Mayoral hustings event on Wednesday 20th April to discuss Climate Safe Streets. Please go along to show support for the asks and to ensure that the next Mayor of Hackney commits to policies to support cycling.

Climate Safe Streets Hustings

The event will be both in person and online.

Please RSVP to hackneycyclingcampaign@gmail.com, including if you would like to bring guests.

The event will be a chance for HCC to introduce our priorities to the mayoral candidates. Each candidate will give a 3-4 minute speech on their campaign before having a Q&A session.

In advance of the hustings, HCC will be asking candidates for their commitment towards the 5 asks (see below).

As well as coming to the hustings event, please be sure to complete the LCC's Climate Safe Streets campaign, by emailing the local candidates asking them to sign up to the 5 asks. Take a couple of minutes to email through LCC's website now.
