OPPORTUNITY (paid) to discuss citizen engagement in Hackney

My team at Future Cities Catapult is running a project about citizen engagement, and would very much appreciate the insight of our local community.

Specifically, we are trying to understand how people in different cities and communities engage with or use public services/resources, and were hoping to speak to a few people (aged 21 – 75 years) who may have/be…

  • Recent graduates
  • Recently retired/unemployed
  • Recently married/divorced/bereaved
  • New parents
  • New to the city
  • Using assistive equipment (wheelchair)
  • Had a recent health scare
  • Asthmatic or have a health condition that is dependent on clean air

This would involve a 60 minute casual conversation with myself and Cassie Robinson (Project Lead). We are happy to travel to meet people at their place of work, community centre or host them at our offices in the Urban Innovation Centre (near Farringdon Station). As a token of thanks we are offering £80.

If you happen to know anyone interested or available on October 16th, 21st or 23rd (09:00 – 13:00), do pass along my details (nferrao@futurecities.catapult.org.uk).

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks!

Nicola
