Our council is asking for your views on air pollution, walking, public transport, liveable neighbourhoods and other aspects of transport through two major consultations which close in October.

Did you know that the transport consultation includes proposals for increasing tree cover, introducing sustainable drainage systems and increasing food growing spaces?

We want to start a discussion on these key green themes that will affect Hackney for the next 10 years to inform our response to the consultation and we are calling this "The Big Green Pow-Wow"

The public meeting will focus on three topics: Air Quality, Public Transport and Liveable Neighbourhoods.

Thanks to everyone who came along last night despite the weather and contributed to a successful meeting!  Thanks also to Arcola for providing the venue, and to the council officers who came and answered questions.  Council officers will also be available at Dalston CLR James Library this Friday 17th 2pm - 4pm to answer questions on the Transport Plan.  http://www.hackney.gov.uk/libraries-whats-on.htm#dalston
