Hackney law firm 3 : Government 0

Hackney law firm Client Earth won a third court victory over the Govenment which has repeatedly delayed publication of it's Air Quality plans.  The judge agreed with Client Earth that public health concerns overule the convention of purdah which the government tried to use to delay publishing the plans until after the general election.  Now they must be published on 9th May after the local elections.…

Fighting back against Fracking - Film Screening - the Bentley Effect - 8th June

Frack Off London are organising a London screening of The Bentley Effect, a film documenting how a community in Australia organised against unconventional gas extraction, building up to an iconic blockade. 



With the fracking industry pushing to start production in the UK this year, this is a really timely film to build up a strong opposition wherever they drill.
