Profile Information

About me: I am an Environmental Management graduate with a passion for urban agriculture and sustainable food production. I have experience in research and lab-based analysis techniques with a peer-reviewed journal article in the field of soil quality. Other interests within the environmental sciences include sustainable development and green business strategies, ecology and conservation. I have further knowledge of woodland management and afforestation techniques.

Prior to studying environmental sciences, I spent a number of years training in the performing arts giving me a wide range of communication, public speaking and presentation skills. I am an adept writer and am as comfortable writing creatively as I am writing an academic paper or scientific report.

I am currently working on growing my own social enterprise The Blue-Sky Greenhouse CIC which is dedicated to encouraging new perspectives on agriculture within urban environments.
