Free PACT Community meal

Care about the environment and reducing food waste? Love cooking and eating great food? Then come to the next free PACT Meal!

When food is thrown away, the carbon that went into growing, harvesting, storing, transporting and cooking it is wasted. PACT meals aim to reduce food waste, by working with local shopkeepers and food growers to source ingredients which would otherwise be thrown away and then combine it with our team of volunteers to make a delicious feast for the community.

PACT Meals are a free event and no meal is the same as ingredients available will vary and the volunteer chefs bring their imagination to rustle up ever more inventive recipes for the community to sample. If you'd like to volunteer with the cooking, please come from 10.30am to help make it a success and spread the good vibes. People who love to eat great food and want to enjoy sharing a meal and meeting new people, please come down for lunch from 12.30pm.

Also, if you have any food in your fridge or kitchen that you will not use this week, please bring it down so we can add it to the meal. See you there!
