According to the Good Food for London report 2012, Hackney 'has made a commitment to engage with the Capital Bee campaign and / or is already implementing bee-friendly practices' (see pages 16 and 17). It is behind other boroughs such as Tower Hamlets and Haringey.

Bee and honey are one of 7 criteria used in the report to assess sustainable food issues in each London borough - see more on the 'Food' page in the 'Issues' section of this website.
