£575 in November 2014 and £575 in March 2015

(24 hours teaching time, 11 hours planning and marking time in total)

As part of the Manor House PACT project, supported by the Big Lottery Fund, we will be training people about plant propagation. • plan training, using the lesson content guidance in the appendices below

  • produce and copy lesson handouts. We have existing handouts which may be used.

  • deliver teaching (4 x 6 hr sessions)

  • assess accreditation students' work: student demonstrations during classes and two lots of homework that will be submitted to you for marking and marked out of class time

  • commit to all four training days (8 and 11th November 2014, 24th and 28th March 2015),

Essential

  • a recognised teaching qualification, e.g. PTLLS, PGCE or other teaching qualification

  • experience and skill at all the learning outcome strands listed in the appendix below

Desirable

  • experience of delivering accredited training

  • a knowledge of and connection to the Manor House area

  • an understanding and appreciation of organic gardening
