Outward are a support and care charity supporting vulnerable adults in North and East London. As part of our Hackney Volunteer & Befriending service we are opening a FoodCycle hub in the E8 area. FoodCycle aims to build stronger communities through combining the use of volunteers, surplus food waste and spare kitchen spaces to cook nutritious and tasty meals for those at risk of food poverty and social isolation.

We are looking to launch towards the end of November, with a once a week cooking session, which will likely be a lunch time service. We are looking for volunteers for a variety of roles including collecting the food donations, cooking the food and hosting the guests.
