Event Description

The first New Internationalist Ethical Careers Fair and Conference will offer students the opportunity to meet ethical employers face to face. It will also host panel discussions relating to work today, focusing on the gig economy, the gender pay gap and the future of work.

Stallholders include:

How To Break into Journalism

  • New Internationalist digital editor Chris Spannos (Telesur)
  • New Internationalist magazine editor Yohann Koshy (Vice, frieze, Tank, The Quietus, Financial Times)
  • New Internationalist magazine editor Hazel Healy (Agencia EFE, De Correspondent, Deutsche welle, LA Times and The Guardian)

The Gig Economy

The event will be held in the Brunei Building, SOAS, University of London, WC1H 0XG. It is open to students from any university, as well as members of the public.
